BRENT CRUDE AND WTI
Brent is the waterborne benchmark behind most of the world's crude contracts; WTI prices the US barrel out of Cushing. Between them they anchor almost every physical cargo and paper hedge on the planet, which is why they sit at the top of this board as live spot prices in dollars per barrel.
DUBAI, OMAN AND THE BRENT/DUBAI SPREAD
Dubai and Oman are the medium-sour markers for Gulf crude moving east. The Brent/Dubai spread is the toll gate between Atlantic and Asian pricing: when it widens, Atlantic barrels stay home; when it narrows, the arbitrage east opens and Gulf sellers feel it in every offer.
EN590 DIESEL AND SINGAPORE GASOIL
EN590 10ppm is the road diesel specification for Europe and much of the world, referenced here as the gasoil price in dollars per tonne. Singapore gasoil, quoted per barrel, anchors diesel east of Suez. The gap between the two is the freight and quality story of the middle distillate market.
BUNKER PRICES · FUJAIRAH, SINGAPORE, ROTTERDAM
VLSFO 0.5% sulphur is the workhorse marine fuel of the IMO 2020 era; MGO is its distillate alternative. The board quotes both at Fujairah alongside VLSFO at Singapore and Rotterdam, the three great bunkering hubs. The spread between those ports decides where tonnage fuels cheap, and it moves voyage economics cargo by cargo.
FREIGHT, GAS AND THE MACRO TAPE
The Baltic Dry Index tracks dry bulk earnings and stands proxy for the shipping cycle at large. Henry Hub, TTF and JKM price natural gas in the United States, Europe and Asia; they matter to an oil desk because gas sets refinery and freight costs at the margin.
HOW THE BOARD UPDATES
Live rows refresh through the trading day from aggregated market data providers and public sources, each with its own as-of date; the page re-checks every minute. Rows labelled desk mark are illustrative levels for context. None of it is a tradeable quote: read before you rely. To trade the physical or the paper behind these numbers, open a line.
